Registration Policy

Registration will be on a first come basis.  Confirmation will be emailed to each camper confirming his/her registration.  If a confirmation email is not received within two weeks of registering please check your online account or contact the office to confirm your status.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing (emails should be sent to info@kawkawa.com).

  • Cancellations more than 4 weeks before camp start date will result in 75% of the full payment for the camp being refunded.
  • Cancellations 2-4 weeks before the camp start date will result in 50% of the full payment of camp being refunded.
  • Cancellations less than 2 weeks before camp start date will result in 25% of the full cost of the camp being refunded..

There is no refund once camp starts and no adjustment of rates for campers who arrive late or leave early.  A child’s registration may be transferrable to another week if space allows.

Camp Behaviour

Kawkawa reserves the right to dismiss a camper who presents a hazard to the safety and rights of others or who appears to have rejected the reasonable controls of the camp.  Under such circumstances there will be no refund of camp fees.

Cigarettes, alcohol, illicit drugs and pornographic materials are prohibited.  No camper or staff will be allowed to have these items on his/her possession at camp.

Medical Information

All campers a required to fill in a medical form.  This can be completed online as part of the registration process.  This form will allow you to specify special dietary needs and will enable our camp nurse to provide the best care for your child.  During registration any medication must be handed over to the nurse who will administer the daily doses to campers.

Image Release

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, Kawkawa Camp program and activities constitutes as agreement by the registrant to Kawkawa’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions and recordings of such events and activities.
